  Honey. For real?! You call that sushi?!!! Go to downtown and have some normal sushi instead of wasting your money

  We had teppanyaki dinner at Aki Da - we ordered the dinner for 4 people. The cost is $200, so we expected a lot of food & nice variety. The proteins consisted of; one piece of chicken, one piece of steak, 8 small shrimp, 2 small pieces of fish and 4 of the tiniest lobster tails I've ever seen - all to be divided among 4 people. The chef served one or two pieces to each person. Taste was very mediocre. We may return to Aki Da for sushi, but we will not waste our money on their teppanyaki dinner. Our bill was over $300 with a few drinks - we left very disappointed.

  There are some delicious, unique options on the menu that were a nice surprise. Plus, the in-table BBQs and cooking at your table make for a fun dining experience. Finally, a restaurant in the Beaches that I actually like! I will definitely go back.

  Nice little Japanese restaurant with a cozy interior. The food was fresh and prepared without much of a wait. The staff are very friendly and courteous

  Just checked this restaurant out today. The food was tasty, although the chopsticks and bowls can be replaced. They are getting old. Their tempura cheesecake is exceptional! Love it!
