  I have been to Elephant & Castle half a dozen times. The staff are consistently friendly, and the food—I only ate the steak and fries—is great. With its high ceiling and stately windows, the building exudes pleasant ambience. The draught beer selection, on the other hand, is limited, particularly if you drink only European imports. All in all, Elephant & Castle is one of my most favourite watering holes in the city.

  I had the classic hamburger, which isn't something I would normally get excited about, but this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. This is an all around good restaurant.

  I recently went here for my birthday and had a great dinner. I was looking for a location where the prices and food were good, and found this right beside my hotel (Chelsea hotel). They did a good job accommodating my group and I would recommend trying the chicken pot pie, the lettuce wraps and the Mexican Bulldog. The only thing that I didn't like was that the bathroom was all the way in the basement and that they didn't put candles on my birthday cake.

  Great lunch service and selection. Stopped in for a quick bite and pint and food and drinks we out quickly. Server had great recommendations and was very attentive.
