  Outstanding service created an unforgettable  experience!!! I called ahead and explained to chef Marco that I was looking to pick up a special take out lamb dinner for two. Asked him to surprize me... My expectations were greatly exceeded! While the dinner was prepped I was treated at the bar by thoughtful staff with an appetizer of a Portuguese sardine wrapped in a thinly carved potato with a glass of champagne! It was so perfectly done: juicy sardine, not too salty, crispy potato. The atmosphere in the restaurant whet my appetite as the open concept of the kitchen in and wood burning oven smack in the middle of the dining area and radiated the aromas and built antocipation as I watched the staff crafting my dinner! At home I was thrilled to open up a savoury crown roast of lamb done med rare just right. The appetizer was a massive boconccini stuffed with something of cream cheese consistency that tasted light and delicate coupled with some marinated cherry / red and green tomatoes! After all the filling sides, the desserts were so rich I had to savour every bite. The gooseberry cheesecake was out of this world! This was my second time dining at Via Allegro and I was once again blown away with the whole experience.  Next time I'm coming to try the collection of scotch.

  I had amazing time here with family and friends for a birthday dinner. Place was beautiful and food was excellent. Would love to go again

  Always a delight. This is a one in a while treat for us, my husband knows of it through work. Lots of care and no pomp and circumstance, all families are treated equally. Amazing food, and the staff are very well educated regarding wine. If Scotch or spirits are your thing.. This is a small corner of heaven. Enjoy
