  Disappointing to say the least. Although the food itself is tasty and satisfying, the service leaves a lot to be desired. When will restaurants realize that when you order soup and salad and a main course, all three should not be brought out at the same time! This has happened several times at Baton Rouge and it's unacceptable. In addition no one came around to offer pepper or grated cheese when the soup and the salad were delivered. For a restaurant that charges as much as Baton Rouge, they sure fall well below expectations.

  Came here on a Sunday evening with five other people, and my experience exceeded expectations. Location was convenient next to the Mel Lastman Square. Service was pleasant. Food was decent. I got Lobster Risotto and got to sample calamari appetizer, the famous ribs (it wasn't super amazing but not terrible, either), classic steak, sweet potato fries and mashed potatoes. They were all tasty. The only complaint is that we felt squeezed into the booth which would have comfortably seated about four people.
