  Very friendly atmosphere. Very good place for kids to see different varieties of fish. Best of all its FREE. You dont loose anything. Thanks to all at Big Als.

  Largest selection of reptiles, birds and rodents. Rabbits and ferrets too. Very knowledgeable staff that really care about the animals they sell. Decent fish room with a good selection of freshwater fish. Small marine selection. Large reef tank display as well as a shark tank.

  Huge showroom with a wide selection of aquatic plants and creatures such as fish mainly. Also have a good selection of land critters like lizards and small snakes. Friendly staff and a good store layout, if you're not purchasing anything it's still fun to have a look at all they have to offer.

  Horrible service in the fish department, was told there is no "manager" to speak to. Purchased 200$ of fish only to be given two weeks of hell while my tanks (Main, Quarunteen, and Hospital) recovered from being infected by Ich. Didn't ask for any money back, just replacement fish for the 4 more expensive purchases, larger male associate laughed at my partner and I and told us to go elsewhere if we didn't like it. Upstairs staff were friendly but could not help apparently, still told there is no "manager" of the shop to rectify the issues. Travelled from downtown to this location, will not be returning or recommending.
