- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆********READ FULL REVIEW IN PICTURES********** ********WORST PLACE TO GO******** YOU WILL THANK ME LATER********** We had the worst night at the Boston Pizza on Morningside and 401 even though the Raptors won the series that night. My brother and I decided on going to Boston Pizza on 25 Cinemart Drive in Scarborough as we were there previously with our mates for game 5 of the Raptors vs Bucks series. Once we got to the location we noticed that the bar lounge was full and we were waiting for a hostess to come to the front desk to seat us. We waited 8 mins until one of the employees (forgot her name) arrived and said "You can sit anywhere and we will serve you". Well that was a waste of time we didn't mind. Every other Boston Pizza we have visited has seated us and so did they at game 5. They were understaffed and we didn't really mind as long as we were served accordingly. We walked over and sat over in the dining lounge. We found a table with a good view to the projector that was projecting the game and the hostess (Savannah Lowe) came by. THIS IS WHEN THE UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE SERVICE AND RACISM STARTS. Savannah comes over and says "This table is not cleaned yet." We then ask politely "Can you clean this table for us? It's a good view from here, we can wait or go for a smoke in the mean while." She then replies "Nah." My brother and I looked at each other and moved over to a different table. She could of said "No, I'm sorry blah blah" but seemed like we were at the most ghetto Boston Pizza in Scarborough lol. This was just the beginning until fury started.By Nishan Thananayagam, March 14, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Good size portions. Food is fast food and basically reheated if going by taste. Limited on tap which was surprising.By Monsterwolfgang Wolfgang, January 27, 2017
- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆I didn't have the best experience here, which surprises me as I used to work at a Boston Pizza, where I was trained on meeting and exceeding steps of service excellence. Our server had decent customer service skills, took our orders correctly, and the food came in a timely manner. What was lacking is that no one came to check how our food was and how we were doing (which should be done within 2 bites or 2 minutes after serving the meal). My fiancĂ©'s wings were a bit cold, but he didn't want to say anything as he was very hungry. Another problem is that I was not offered a refill of water for my whole sitting. I was a little frustrated by this because I even placed my empty glass at the end of the table, and not one server who walked by, asked if I needed a refill. This also includes the manager, who walked by a few times and did not acknowledge my empty glass. I guess I shouldn't expect much from Boston Pizza, maybe it's more of a pub/bar experience, but I was not sitting by the bar or in that area. I would come back to this Boston Pizza and other locations again, as the food is always good, but I would hope that the Morningside location improves on giving their customers a more ideal and welcoming dining experience.By Lorelei E, August 27, 2016
