- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Entered with 10 people so auto gratuity was a must and understood. Service was great at first until they realized they had to auto grat. Then servers were MIA after food arrived. Waited 1h to get drinks and was asked to get the tables order and take it to the bar. Plates did not get cleared, we had to clear them ourselves. When asked if there was anything they could do about service they said nothing. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Service was poor, had to go find our own menus, water, and bill because they never came by. Then we were slapped with an auto 18% gratuity (for a party of 4 and they never told us prior), absolutely ridiculous. Food was standard pub fare and interior is musty and dated. - ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆The library lounge, upstairs from the pub is a staple of Toronto life. The food is under rated (sous vide chicken wings anyone?) and a small but decent list of beers. You should come at least once in your life. Oh and yes, they still have the jute box.By M, July 08, 2016
