  We attended Jack Astor's for a lunch with a group of people on our way to the Jays game we arrived at 11 AM and asked if we had enough time to eat before the 1 pm game. At 12:45 we asked to speak to a manager regarding the status of our food as we kept being promised that it was coming within minutes, our server who was very nice attempted to provide us with an excuse as to why the food wasn't ready which was outside of her control the kitchen was clearly behind and they were clearly understaffed. We were never asked if he wanted top ups on our drinks. Our food arrived 5 to 10 minutes one plate at a time cold. While the manager did comp our food we still had to wait an additional 25 minutes to get the receipts for our drinks that we had ordered. Our waiter was in tears clearly this issue wasn't isolated. Clearly management needs to ensure staffing is adequate and support this staff as the wait staff was constantly running. Terrible way to start a day out with friends.

  My first experience in a Jack Astor's and was surprised for the savoury dishes. Here my 1-2-3 for their Front Location: 1) Nachos are tasty and great portion size: Couldn't believe Nachos could be good outside my home-mades! Please note, no meat there 2) I had a classic Margarita, I really liked the flavour and the amount of alcohol. What I liked the most was that it came in a bottle and you serve yourself, it is not as other places where you order a cocktail and the glass comes full of ice! 3) Good music and good ambiance, the best thing? You can talk with your friends and they can hear you! :) I really enjoyed coming here and will definitely come back!

  Great food, as is all locations (been to 5). Beer selection is great. Prices is reasonable. Service is hit and miss. I wouldn't recommend going before a jays game as service usually is terrible. Off hours or during lunch service is usually good.

  Nice atmosphere, great servers! Prices are decent. Menu's good. The chicken tenders are out of this world! What is with the short pints though? Who the heck wants two and a half inches of foam on top of their beer? Bad! Bad! Beer lovers beware!
