- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆This is one of THE worst grocery store in scarborough, as far as the chains go. Everytime i go in there i find something rotten like the pre packaged salads or out of date bread. One summer their bakery department had sooo many flies around it was like a garbage dump. The nerve metro has to charge the prices they do and offer these products is disgusting.By michelle davidson, March 27, 2017

- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Good hours (but used to be 24 hour which was great). I buy my meat here almost exclusively (in-store butchers). Prices for all items always generally higher at Metro stores. Fresh produce doesn't turn over as much as I would like and tends to be expensive. Yummy in store bakery which discounts day old products appropriately. Some long term employees have definite attitude, but it is very convenient in our little community and I hope it stays.By habcooper, October 29, 2016

I asked them to fix the problem chasier and night manager ( on Wednesday night) told me to wait few minutes but came back after 20 minutes and told me that they can't do anything because has to be done by morning shift manager : Cashier Alice was so so so ------ People skills is 0 Poor customer service No one wants to take responsible Never ever visit and never ever recommendBy pang yuhua, October 24, 2016
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Out of every grocery store chain from No Frills to Sobeys to Loblaws to Food Basics, this store was the most disgusting due to their lack of courtesy regarding the 5 cent bag policy. I have absolutely no issue with the policy itself. During my transaction I paid for a bag. After the transaction was over, I had to pay another 5 cent for a bag, which is completely fair. What wasn't fair and absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful was the fact that I had no change and they insisted that I put 5 cents on my debit card. Are kidding me, Metro??? You need to exercise some discretion as it pertains to the implementation of such a policy. I paid $50 at that store and they refused to give me a free 5 cent bag after the transaction and after I told them that I had no change. 5 cents.... You guys are despicable. Seriously. You need to learn how to treat your customers, Metro.By Shonna Smith, September 14, 2016
