- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We drove past the ROM on the way to parking and my 5 year old girl screams "I'm so excited it feels like my head is going to pop off!" Have been to the ROM dozens of times but this was the first with my daughter. The second floor was the one that interested her most - Dinosaurs and Animals. I couldn't get her interested in the third floor (Rome, Greece, Egypt, etc) She also enjoyed the blue whale exhibit. They run excellent rules of your kids have the patience for lecture-style learning.By Ryan Reeson, April 19, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Expect to pay extra for whale exhibit. The building itself is huge with lots of displays. Quite confusing in the beginning to navigate where to go. There's a designated place for small kids to play. My kids are too big for the playing area. We went here because of city passes. We had to find parking on nearby public parking (I don't know if they parking on their site). We didn't enjoy it (we prefer hands on activities like science museum) but the 4 stars because the facility does a good job making awesome displays, well maintained.By Desi Arul, January 11, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★They have a great kids section! My son loved digging for dinosaur bones & playing with blocks. The bat cave was great. The dinosaurs were amazing. Worth the visit! Just make sure you go early & are able to stay the whole day. There's lots to see.By Christine Chometa, November 26, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The ROM is a city landmark. You can't say you know Toronto until you have visited both the AGO and the ROM. The ROM has a play area for small children, and plenty of exhibits. Don't go there and spend 2 hours. This is a venue that needs 4 hours minimum to get through all the floors. The ROM also has night events and special adult only events. It's an all age appropriate spot to bring people. Plus DINOSAURS! There are also special exhibits that are brought in every once in awhile, right now it's the Whale exhibit.By Chris Levien, November 10, 2016
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆The ROM, specifically the whale exhibit happening right now, was really awesome. I could have easily spent all day in there going through all of the different exhibits. There were older and younger people and everyone in between enjoying the likes of dinosaur bones to cultural relics. The whale exhibit was especially cool! The only reason I didn't give five stars were the people working at the front desk weren't very helpful and did not explain how to get to the whale exhibit and what the timed entry on the tickets meant. All in all I would definitely recommend going.By Emily Hutnik, August 23, 2016
