  Waited 10 mins to be acknowledged at the take out counter, just to be told to wait another few minutes.

  The worst experience ever! Yes, the manager should look for another job as "he" had no cs skills, whatsoever! Two women dining - seems to always be a problem! Met a friend, we ordered a drink, scanned the menu & made our decision pretty quickly! We waited 40 minutes for our server to take our order! We were chatting so we were a little distracted by the lack of service - the table of 10 right next to us was getting preferential treatment - working for a big tip, I presume! Each time our server passed us, I figured she was coming to our table - I finally flagged her over & asked if we could be served as we have been waiting a very long time! In her broken English, she obliged! The restaurant was not that busy, other than the table next to us! I ordered the chicken wings, like I usually do! When the food finally arrived, I looked at my chicken wings and laughed! I refused to pay for it - they were these scrawny little pieces of chicken and a nub, that was considered a wing, I guess! I told our server that I am not eating them and refuse to pay for it! It was a joke! The manager came over and basically said that if I ordered a different plate of wings, they will be the same! So I ordered the burger that was not memorable in the least! The manager had this attitude and didn't seem to care that I was displeased! We also tried to order garlic bread, without cheese, which I had done a month ago at another location without a problem! No - our server said it comes prepackaged and that she could not give us bread without cheese! So to wrap this up, Swiss Chalet is now under the umbrella of Cara Foods!!!! BIG MISTAKE!!!! I will not go to a Swiss Chalet, from here on in, after learning this! What a shame - a restaurant that has been around for years, with consistently good food, now down the drain! You go cheap, you lose your customers - as simple as that!

  I love coming here for lunch meetings. It's quiet, we can talk and they have large tables. Plus, everyone can afford it.

  Usually have no problem with this location for take out but today their debit/credit system is down and I had a GC to use and couldn't. Time to get served exceptionally long and couldn't get a receipt for the order due to system down.
