  The food itself isn't really bad enough to warrant 2 stars (it's more of a 3.5/4 depending on what you order). The problem with Terroni is the exuberant pricing considering that Toronto has so many Italian restaurants serving similar food. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying for a quality meal with quality ingredients, but there's nothing on Terroni's menu that's any different than what you can find at any standard Italian place in the city. And if you're going to get away with charging a lot for standard fare it should at least taste more amazing then the competition. Atmospherically the space itself is definitely nice. They've adapted the layout to fit the building's history as a courthouse in a way that seems to work. If you care about atmosphere then this is a great place for a dinner, but if you're looking for spectacular food Terroni doesn't really deliver.

  I love the ambiance at this Terroni's and the food is always delicious. The back terrace is a beautiful little escape in the city. My past couple of visits though the service was slow and the food took a while to get to the table. Don't go here if you are in a rush.

  ***** SORRY*** THIS WAS MEANT FOR THE ONE ON VICTORIA STREET***Happy to walk in but happier leaving. The first clue that this place has changed it's style was the hostess had a lackadaisical attitude more in line with a parking lot attendant saying.."park anywhere you like..I really could care less" ! Then the server followed up with ignoring our table and attending to another table that arrived after us. Clearly we were made to feel unimportant and we left for another restaurant a few minutes away and enjoyed the service and the meal. Better to spend $200. for dinner at the second place Terroni locations have different staff and the Adelaide location must be a training spot for staff that clearly haven't grasped the fact that many choices exist for the general public and the freedom to choose is often the first step in spending time and money for service .

  Such a great place! Staff is very attentive, helpful and super nice. The food arrived super quickly and it was also delicious. If you have a chance to seat on the patio -do it you'll love the experience even more
