  We have been ordering food from here for years. The upside is that the food is they are almost always busy (a good sign the food doesn't sit around for long), the food is consistently good and they are fairly efficient and very quick with orders. The service however is up and down (they can make you feel rushed and can be abrupt).

  Upon my entrance to this crowded dining experience, the first thing I noticed was the slow service. I had to wait half an hour before being seated in front of the door. It very unpleasant sitting near the piercing Canadian winter outside. However, the taste of the food made up for the unfortunate seating. The sushi pizza was very nice, and the water was very pure. The food came quickly. Too quickly. I suspect that it was prepared prior to my visit. As I write this, I am still waiting for the bill. The prices are fair, especially for the all-you-can-eat option. Had I been seated away from the door, I would have been very happy. However, in the end, I was barely satisfied.

  Very reasonable prices. Good choice of non sushi dishes. The main portions are big. Could be share for 2. The only hot drink is green tea. No coffee.

  My recent visit to Wakame Sushi was better than the last. In previous visits the restaurant had several issues in the quality of service provided by its staff. I'm happy to report that things have changed for the better. My wife and I were served by May, a polite and respectful server. We sat down and were asked what we'd like to drink. Shortly after we received one menu to look at between the two of us. Not long after asking, we were brought another menu. This happens often so don't be afraid to ask if you need another menu. May took our drink food order quickly. The food arrived not long after that (appetizers in 10-15 and main dishes about 5 after that). The food was well presented, tasted fresh and was served at an ideal temperature. May came back to make sure our food was good but gave us lots of time to enjoy our meal as well. Overall the experience was fantastic and I'm glad to see some of the concerns I brought up with restaurant leadership were taken into consideration. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant does get very busy and the servers' disposition can sometimes be interpreted as rude when they are simply trying to make the packed house of guests happy all at the same time. I'd recommend coming here during lunch or dinner as there is a wide variety of food on offer as well as an all you can eat menu for kids and adults alike.

  Very nice Japanese restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. The waiters there are very friendly and it's one of the only restaurants that allows some people to eat from their "All You Can Eat" menu and some from their "A La Carte" menu. This is perfect when part of the family doesn't eat a lot and others do. However they are not very consistent with the quality of their sushi. Sometimes it amazing quality, while other times the rice maybe a little dry or they may not put a lot of veggies etc. This being said, my family goes to this restaurant quite frequently and this has only happened a few times when we came right before the restaurant closed... Overall, it's a very nice Japanese restaurant.
