  Was nervous about trying this place out for a friends birthday. Didn't really know anything on the menu, however I got the dumplings and they tasted great. Beer was great, taking your shoes off and sitting was pretty cool. Service was great. Only weird thing is you have to add up you own bill from the main bill and tell the server how much you owe them. Overall, much better than I expected and I would go again.

  Went for a Sunday lunch. Plenty of open spots. We ordered about 10 different dishes to share between 3 people - totalled to just a little more than the per person tasting menu (~$40/person). A bit on the pricey side but each dish was fantastic and overall we left pleasantly stuffed.

  Wow... this place was busy on Friday night, yet we were seated promptly. The servers are fast, attentive, and helpful. The entire place has a very cheerful vibe... Beware the noise if you expect silence which seems typical of many Toronto establishments. The staff here will sing a song if you order a drink called a sake bomb. The song also requires you to participate. It was a lot of fun. Staff greet you loudly upon arrival as though you were an esteemed guest of honour. The food is very delicious and the menu quite large for a Toronto izakaya. Daily menu specials and special items... combos, etc. We will definitely come here again.. Hopefully within the upcoming week. Cheers! I finally came back after 8 months. Again, the service, food, drink, and atmosphere were perfect. This is definitely one of the very best places in the city, if not the very best.

  This is a fun place to visit. The food is pretty good. Don't miss out of their baked oysters and rice dishes. Their staff is amazing enthusiastic which made the experience even more fun.

  Amazing food and atmosphere! So much drink selection. Can get loud but it's all part of the party!! Very lively. Don't forget to make reservations and make sure to remember that 2 hour sitting limit starts when you get seated! Have fun!
