- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've been to several board game cafes and this was my best experience by far. Lots of seating (though it's popular, so it was filling up later in the day), great selection of games, decent food choices and quality. But mostly, the staff were the friendliest and most helpful of any board games cafe I've been to. They checked on us regularly for food, drinks, and advice for picking board games and helping us learn the rules. Overall we had an amazing afternoon there.By Maaike Helmus, May 23, 2017
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★The OG Snakes & Lattes. Usually busy and very homey, especially relative to the shiny, brighter, and more open College location. Between the two, I prefer the College location in almost every facet, down to the fact that there are more washrooms at College. But there's nothing wrong with the Annex location. There are still a million games and the staff still know their stuff. On top of that, it's on a street where there are plenty of restaurants and stores you can visit before/after Snakes.
